+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Congratulations are in order for Betty!  Winner of the pistachio giveaway!  You can check out the winner’s page here. Thank you to EVERYONE ♥ who entered!  There were over 230 entries!  I get excited each time people enter the giveaways here on Healthful Sense!

Ready for this next giveaway?!

It has something to do with this….

This…

And this…

I won a copy of this fabulous cookbook on a contest held by Foodie Blogroll.  In addition to receiving this cookbook they supplied me one extra copy to giveaway!  I’m excited that one of YOU will get a chance to win this lovely cookbook.

Simply Sugar and Gluten-Free, written by Amy Green, features 180 easy and delicious recipes you can make in 20 minutes or less!

Amy Green is the creator of the Simply Sugar and Gluten-Free website where she shares her cooking ideas and recipes.  In her book, she is very candid about her successful 60-pound-weight loss, which she attributes to making healthy lifestyle changes like eliminating refined sugars from her diet and learning to listen to her body.  She also attributes her success to eliminating wheat from her diet.

This is a wonderful cookbook that will show you that healthier eating does not equal deprivation.

At first when I read her book I was a little confused by the “sugar-free” in the title and expected to see recipes with artificial sweeteners.  That is not the case.  This is not a “sugar-free” cookbook.  It is a “refined white sugar-free” cookbook.  She uses natural sweeteners in her recipes like agave, dates, dried fruits, maple syrup, honey, palm sugar, and stevia.

I love success stories like Amy’s!

Here’s how to win a copy of her book:
